Privacy Policy

Confetto is made by Lionary LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Confetto iOS app handles and how.
- Every photo taken in Confetto is stored locally on your device. We do not run accounts, we do not upload your photos, and we cannot see them.
- We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. We do not track you across other companies' apps and we do not use the IDFA.
- The optional AI background studio sends only your text prompt — never your photos — to generate a backdrop.
- We never sell personal data and we don't show third-party ads.
Photos and event data
Photos, photo strips, event names, captions, and template settings are saved only on your iPhone or iPad. Confetto has no accounts and no cloud database — sharing a photo or strip happens only when you explicitly use Save, AirPrint, Messages, Mail, or the share sheet. Deleting an event or the app removes its data from the device. Confetto's data is included in your normal iPhone backups, which is how it moves to a new phone.
Your guests
Photos your guests take in the booth stay on your device just like your own. As the host, you decide what gets printed or shared. We never receive, store, or process guest photos.
Analytics
We use Mixpanel and AppsFlyer to understand how the app is used in aggregate (for example: that a booth session was started, a template was picked, or a strip was printed) and to measure which of our ads or links brought new users to the app. This data is tied to a random per-install identifier — not your name, email, or any account. We do not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Analytics never include your photos, captions, or event names.
AI background studio (Premium)
If you use the AI background studio, the app sends only the text prompt you type (for example, "golden-hour vineyard") to Google's Gemini model via Firebase to generate a backdrop image. Your photos are never sent — compositing happens on your device. Per Google Cloud terms, this data is not used to train AI models.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. These services receive anonymized purchase and device information required to provide their function (such as a random app user ID and purchase receipts). We never see your payment details.
Data retention & deletion
Local data lives on your device until you delete it. Analytics data is retained by Mixpanel and AppsFlyer per our configuration. To request deletion of analytics data associated with your device, contact us at the address below.
